This Y-profile aluminum trim embeds flush into wood, MDF or drywall, tilting the LED strip at 45 ° to wash doors, books or décor with a soft, shadow-free glow. A snap-in milky lens hides dots and protects the tape, while the anodized body wicks heat away for longer strip life. Choose black, silver, gold, gray, coffee or bronze to match hinges and pulls, then simply rout a 20 × 11 mm groove, press in the trim and click on the diffuser. Architectural accent lighting, done. Installation Notes
Cut the groove – route a 0.79″(W)×0.43″(H) channel in wood or gypsum.
Dry-fit & wire – test LED tape, solder leads, clean slot with isopropyl.
Bond the trim – press channel into groove with construction adhesive or brads.
Apply LED tape – peel backing and adhere along the internal 45 ° pad.
Snap diffuser – start at one end and work along for a seamless finish.
Seal ends – push on end caps; silicone if in damp areas.
Power up – connect to 12 V/24 V driver; pair with door sensor for auto-on cupboards.
