Plan & measure – Lay out runs and choose CCT. Cut only at the 50 mm marks.
Size the power – Budget ≈ 9.2 W per meter (≈ 0.38 A/m at 24 V). Use a regulated 24 V DC driver with 20–30% headroom.
Prep the surface – Clean/dry; for long runs or higher output, mount in aluminum channel for straighter lines and heat dissipation.
Cut & connect – Maintain polarity (+/−). Use solder or compatible solderless connectors. Inject power on long runs to minimize voltage drop.
Mount – Peel the 3M backing and press firmly; avoid sharp kinks—use smooth bends.
Dim & control – Works with 24 V PWM dimmers/controllers (not included).
Test & seal – Power up, confirm uniform light, tidy leads. For kitchens/baths, keep away from direct water (IP20).
