Not the easiest DIY install, but that’s less of a fault of the product than it is my kitchen. I routed the wiring behind my microwave and plugged the lights into a smart outlet socket in the cabinet above so I can control the lights via Google Home, e.g. “Hey Google, turn off the kitchen lights.” They’re nice and bright, and they seem to be durable. Some stronger adhesive would be nice but the kit does include other mounting options as well. The warm light temperature is perfect, I can’t imagine using the 6000K (or whatever the other option is) temperature unless it was in a clinical setting. Would recommend!

Nice quality light. Cables are small and easy to hide away with small plugs you can fit through a small hole for mounting. Comes with screws for mounting and availability in black or silver aluminium.

Good systems. I purchased two of them and separately purchased two dimmer switches for the lights within my kitchen cabinets and one for beneath. I also bought some wire and butt connectors to make a long connection around the microwave. I did it by cutting the ends off a connector wire that came with the LED lights and splicing them onto the correct length of wire. I used a staple gun to attach the wire to the cabinets and the tape backing on the lights. I also stapled white 1/2″ cable split sleeving to the cabinet and then slipped the wire inside so that the black wires wouldn’t show when I opened the cabinet door.

I used this kit to light the underside of my workbench in my home shop. It was really easy to set up and came with plenty of extra parts to help me configure it in the best way to get even lighting. Now when I open the drawers on my tool boxes they are lit up and I can see the tools in there clearly.
