I love this collar for my big 6 month old newfiedoodle 70 lbs. Service Dog (in training). The collar gives me good control and the handle actually gave me a nice place to grab yesterday for a quick rebalance for myself when his harness wasn’t on. I like that it has the ability to put regular tags (rabies) and velcro customs (ie service dog, medical alert). I wish there was a smaller separate loop for mandatory tags like rabies from the leash control ring. It would reduce noise, etc. My current collar has a quite small ring you can attach required mandatory licensing tags to. It will only hold a max on two tag wires going trough it, (photo attached). If you can implement this please let me know. I would consider getting a new one.

I have an 80 pound female pit mix who has been through countless collars. She is tough on them- not purposely- and nothing seems to last long enough and I hate to see her walking around with a ratty collar. It’s super important that you get a correct measurement- I guessed and ended up having to send the first one back to get the correct size. This collar is so sturdy and I have no doubts that it will last a while. The 2nd one came with an “In Training” removable Velcro tag, as well as a Velcro logo; the first one that arrived came with neither of these (quality control issue?). I like the handle feature and decided to unlatch it from the Velcro in case my girl needs to be reigned in. The Velcro is very sturdy, and the metal buckle is a nice touch and gives it a rugged look. I really like the fact that the collar can’t be tightened while on her neck, and thus, there is not a risk of strangulation like there is with a typical collar. Highly recommend if you have a large dog!

This is updated review...Originally I Found two negative issues with this collar. Main issue is that quality control needs improvement. Approx. 2" in length stitching is missing that would hold the inner soft and outer hard webbing together. 2nd issue is that the overlapping strap has velcro only on one side. That causes the belt to flip out (stick out) while dog is wearing it. This could be fixed by having velcro on both sides in that it would keep any overlapping strap in place. I had returned that collar for a refund. I gave the company 2nd chance and re-ordered same collar. WOW!!! This new collar just arrived and is perfect...All the issues I stated above were none present. Don't know if the company fixed it after my review or the original collar slipped through the cracks. Nonetheless, this new collar is perfect! Thank you!

Ok so I don’t normally review items on amazon but this collar is bad a$$! I am super happy about the quality of this thing especially in comparison to the knock off I had ordered off of that stupid wish app thing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who might be looking for an awesome tacti-cool/ practical collar.

This is a great collar. It is heavy duty and has a heavy duty D ring. My dog has broken two collars (one leather and the other nylon at the D ring) because he is very large, athletic and territorial and somehow snaps them when he jets off to chase other dogs. He's a big baby but really scares the jeepers out of other dogs and owners. This collar has two means of security via the buckle and the Velcro. It also has a handle which is great for holding him next to me so others can pass by us on walks. I am so glad I found this collar because I had totally lost hope in "ordinary" collars actually holding up. If you have a large dog and need a secure collar that you don't have to worry about its structural integrity then this is the collar you need. Plus he really seems to like it - it must be comfy too.

We have been using for a little over a month now and really like the quality. We live in the Mountains and seems to be holding up very well to an active dog that is frequently in thick brush and various outdoor situations. We were hesitant that the handle would catch on a branch while he is out and about but it seems to fold close to the collar base and not lift in any way that could get caught. Also LOVE the strong metal clip, this was essential for us. We chose the Large after debating between that and XL and glad we got L because there is plenty of room on our Large breed Belgium Shepherd with thick fur. Would recommend and buy again!
