Anyone who used to ride snow gliders as a child has an idea of how the snowfeet ride. The surface must be as smooth as possible, it must not be too steep, it must not be too icy. Then it's really fun. It's great that the things are very light and don't take up much space in a backpack. I drove them with higher hiking boots with a flexible sole, that goes well. So: Uphill in hiking boots, down with snowfeet... if the terrain gets too steep, snap off and run quickly and then buckle up again quickly when it's possible again

My dogs usually pull me with inliners and the snowfeet worked better than expected. Because they are so fun, I'm going to go on a groomed slope next winter. I didn't buy them for that. But they can be used so smoothly that I will definitely do this. If you still know sliding shoes from the past, imagine the parts as better and safer to ride sliding shoes. You can take anywhere. With winter boots on their feet, they are ready to use in 2 minutes.

They're not as slippery as skates so you have more control on the snow, but going downhill I definitely felt like I was wearing real skis!! Would recommend.
