When we bought a faucet it included a pop up drain, but for an overflow variety sink, and our sink is a non-overlow. Who knew? Well, this little item came quickly and filled our need and stopped our sink. Problem solved!

My mother had an old fashioned sink stopper that was too hard to use. This is simple and easy and now we don’t have to hear about her harrowing experiences with closing the drain.

It's really well-made. Easy to install without tools or plumbers putty. In service, it does not restrict the ID of the drain at all (at least for the no-overflow version). The drain plug has a filter basket built-in that can be easily removed and cleaned, and there would be no problem running a snake down the drain should the need arise.
