The grinding just make it very satisfying as compare to the manual grinder that I normally use. For folks that have hand/arm arthritis, this can be good for you too.

These are easy to use and light to pick up and hold. Great gift for a favorite friend or family member whose hands cannot turn a traditional salt and pepper grinder. Even grind and a pleasure to us

My mom's arthritic hands left her waiting for me to grind her fresh pepper., now she can do it herself and although they seem large, they are not too heavy for her to lift. Filling and adjusting are easy.

There's a wide variety of prices for automatic salt & pepper mills. This one is at the more affordable end of the scale, and it does just what it's supposed to.
