It is very loud when they go off and you could hear it easily from 20 yards away from your pole. Also very sensitive that even a bluegill will trip it.
Very easy to use, loud enough to hear far away from pole even walk away from the fishing rod. They do work best with your pole in holder.
If fishing at night they allow you to have multiple poles without manning them directly. Also could be used as distress signal.
Reasonably sensitive, never miss a bite, avoid false alert caused by wind or water. Don’t have to take them off or worry about them flying off to hook a fish.
If you get weight on your line obviously it will trip the spin mechanism so you go to first clamp the line through the rubber grips and your rod just enough to get the line to hold while fishing in current then run it through the spin trip mechanism and it will work like a charm.
