I bought this USB SD card reader to replace one that I lost. I chose it based on price and not much else. I was surprised at how small it was compared to my old one. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I want to note though that the material it's made of feels a lot flimsier than the material of the one I had before. So far it's working fine

Well, they were not kidding when described it as "high speed". Leaves my old USB3 Kingston reader in the dust… then runs circles around its body. At the end of the loooooong wedding day it lets me finish downloading the shoot and go to bed at least an hour earlier, so… worth every penny.

Needed plenty of storage for an extended vacation where a computer would not be accessible. Used a 256gb card in a song handicam. The camera recognized 27 hours and 45 minutes of storage space available. Will eliminate the need to carry extra cards on hunting trips or vacations as I hoped

I had some tiny micro small memory jiggers that needed readin. I thought quick and ordered this . Once it came I realized that I had like 2 laptops laying around that could have done the job. Still, this piece of plastic can be handy because my desktop doesn't have a reader for these cards
