I was surprised by the quality, when it fist came it was folded up, but I laid it out right away and it retained its shape. Does collect the litter that the cats kick out of the box and track out. If you have cats like mine that run out of the box, you will still have litter on the floor just not as much. The size is perfect its big enough to use for 2 litter boxes.

Address the issue w/most complaints 1st: won't lay flat. Comes folded in 1/2 in box. I put in dryer just long enough to get hot then laid out flat with a rug on it till it cooled. There, fixed! Does a good job trapping most litter, "my" cats don't seem to mind walking on it. Both ends open & velcro holds sides, so easy to separate. Common sense says pick up even, then dump from one side (for those that complain it spills out both sides). Bottom layer is waterproof, so don't worry to much about cats missing. Side stiching is a fabric/threading material, so that can absorb fluid some. Cleaning/washing is easy, hose off outdoors or simple do in shower. Kinda big to try cleaning in sink. Bought 1 to tryout, will buy 2 more for other litter boxes. Yes I recommend

I bought this and didn't realize how big it was. I ended up cutting it in half and it still worked fantastically for my two litter boxes. It's easy to clean too as I have an older cat that still has accidents near his box. The little holes will trap in fluid too so it doesn't leak out of the map onto the floor. That was a surprising benefit i didnt expect. It's easy to hose down too. Overall this has kept my floor much cleaner!

I never had cats until recently but my mother in law recently moved in with us and brought her two cats with her. I never realized how much of a mess they can make. We had a door mat outside of their little boxes which helped but I still stepped in cat litter regularly several feet away from their box. This mat works great! It's much larger than I visualized and it seems to almost pull the littler off their paws, since I'm no longer finding it anywhere else than this mat. It took a little bit for the bend to go away from being packaged but that happened naturally in a day. It was also really easy to clean. Would totally recommend this.

Item arrived in a timely manner. This item actually does catch more litter than the other regular mats I have used. It is a good size. It is somewhat stiff due to the backing that catches the litter. It came in a box, and was folded which made a crease in it. I just re-folded the crease the opposite direction a few times and the fold crease eventually went away. Have no problem cleaning it. The cats don't seem to mind the weird pattern feel on their paws. I am thinking about buying a second one.

I got tired of cat litter being tracked from the litter box to the carpet. I ordered the large mat and the problem has been solved. I placed the mat length-wise so that my cat's first few steps out from the litter box are on the mat. Nearly all of the litter stuck to his paws drops to the bottom of the mat. Clean-up is very easy - I simply remove the top of the covered litter box, pick up the mat, pull the back of the mat away from the top of the mat, and every piece of litter falls back into the litter box. Some stubborn pieces of litter require a little shake of the mat. Although the mat does come folded, it is very easy to remove the fold lines by bending the folds back. I first tried the small mat, but it was not long or wide enough to contain the the "paw litter". I would highly recommend the large mat.

I am so happy to have this in my life. It takes in 99 percent of the litter. I see a few specs here and there which I am super happy about. It is much better than before. I have the larger one which I feel is even better for 1 cat. It allows little to catch more. It is super easy to do clean up, right back into the box!

I'm a guy with a sensitive nose and I really don't like the smell of cat poop. Unfortunately our litter box is in the bathroom closet and Willie, our cat, tends to drag it with him. Thankfully, this has reduced my daily cleanup efforts by 60%. I no longer vacuum all the chunks off the floor daily. I just pour it back in to the litter box. No problem. NOTE: I had to leave mine out with some things on it for a day or so to flatten the mat. Willie didn't want to walk on the mat until I flattened it.
