Being an older women,, not accustomed to doing much 'manual ' labor :-) when I took it out of the box I was excited as its actually a good looking 'tool' then I thought I'd gotten the wrong one as it was just the small size and wondered how would the bottom spoke end ever be able to fan out full size... then much to my surprise I found a handy lever on the handle and low and behold that puppy just spread out beautifully. Its so impressive....I have to show it off to every one that comes here. most of them....have never seen such a neat handy dandy rake... If it wasn't such a great rake. it'd just be a fun novelty to surprise people with. Maybe after all the fall leave raking is done....I'll do just that. lol

Open the rake wide for leaves and cuttings. Fold it up tight to get into tight spaces, like under a porch. Shorten the handle and close it up to use up close in among the flowers or veggies. Neat thing to have around.

This is the best rake I have ever used. In fact, in my 77 years on this earth, I would include this in my list of 50 greatest purchases I have made in my life. I just love how easy it is to adjust from wide to narrow width with the flick of a well-made release mechanism. The rake is sturdy without being too heavy. I am currently using it to rake up lawn thatch. It is so easy to do because the rake tines grab onto weeds , leaves or grass and don't let go

This tool is great for light raking over your flowerbed or other things that can be tidied up easily. The telescoping is the best part of this product! From small to big it does a fine job.
