The 5000 series of this reel is very light and the taller spool allows the line will come off this reel without much friction, resulting in longer casts. I am very pleased with this reel, very smooth retrieve action.

The dual drag system is great for bottom fishing if you don’t want to lose your pole from the pier or bank.

It is very smooth, cast easy and works flawlessly. This is the second one i ordered, thats how much i like them, the line feed clicker could be louder but it works awesome.

I bought this reel a few years ago after my brother bought some Penn live liner reels, I always love to find a cheaper product that is just as good if not better than what he buy's and this reel lived up to my hopes. The reel felt great out of the box and was very smooth.

Ive bought three of these none have had any problems, and caught some good catfish on them. If u want a well made "cheaper" reel, give this one a shot.

Honestly very good real strong and smooth I have all ready different kings and model 50 reals that one so nice that price and this real sure perfect
