Absolutely love this rod, it out performed my buddies ugly stik combo. The reel was buttery smooth. You probably have less feel than a traditional rod, however it makes it up in convenience. I just keep this bad boy in my trunk ready to go at any time.

Being able to travel with it and break it down to where it'll fit under a car seat was definitely my favorite part of it compared to the other poles I've used that only break down into two 4+ foot sections.

Went on a spur of the moment trip to a lake and thought I should throw in the portable fishing bag in with my camping gear. I ended up buying a dozen worms and fished for an hour. Ended up catching 5 Smallmouth Bass.

Love the rod! It is an awesome addition to my collection and collapses to the perfect size that I can take anywhere. It feels like a very quality product and the reel that came with it is very smooth as well!

I love this combo. It's a great truck set. I have been keeping it folded up in the truck and breaking it out if I have a free minute to fish. It casts well and has a smooth retrieval.

Getting back into fishing and this was the perfect combo. I also wanted a lightweight telescopic rod for hiking/camping all them boxes ticked. After one use the rod & reel worked perfect.

I searched all over for a Rod and Reel combo I could take in a back pack while ridding my bike to the lake. Of all the reel and rod combos and it checked all the boxes. Right price, great extension, and best of all when I received the combo, a Reel with smooth action high end design, and very well manufactured. It was a pleasant surprise.
